Transforming Lives and Deepening Callings

Transforming Lives and Deepening Callings

When we partnered with Ends Cycling for a prayer and fundraiser event to support Ukrainian youth, none of us fully anticipated the ripple effects it would create. Through God’s mighty power and the incredible generosity of so many, we’ve been able to open doors for young people across Ukraine to experience hope, healing, and purpose.

One beautiful result of this support was the launch of a worship school—an experience that went beyond just learning songs. Imagine a room filled with young voices, many worshiping together for the first time, lifting their hearts to God. In those moments, walls of fear and hardship started to crumble, replaced by a sense of peace and belonging.

Worship School: A Journey of Healing and Discovery

The Worship School has been a place of remarkable healing, learning, and revelation for everyone involved. From learning new instruments to reconnecting with their calling, the Holy Spirit moved with power. Many, like Zhenia, experienced God in ways they’d never imagined.

Zhenia K. writes about her experience:

  • “During worship, one guy saw a vision of water that started as a trickle, then grew stronger until it was everywhere. He shouted, ‘Dive in, the water is everywhere!’ That guy was only 16 years old. Can you imagine?” – Khenia K.

The vision captured the overflow of the Spirit’s presence, inspiring everyone to dive deeper into worship. Moments like these left a lasting impact, reminding each person of the incredible power and closeness of God.

Zhenia K. continued with her testimony as well as something she saw in her brother Vova:

  • “Seeing other young men wholeheartedly serving God gave Vovchyk [brother] a new sense of confidence. A once-shy teenager, he found himself not only singing but playing the drums with an openness he hadn’t felt before. I’ve never seen him like this before. It was a glimpse of how worship can draw out the gifts and courage God has placed within each of us”. -Zhenia K.

Zhenia K. continues:

  • “I, too, came with expectations—eager to sharpen my piano skills and grow as a worshipper. Yet, the experience taught me something far deeper. The group was mostly beginners, so I shifted my focus to the Bible lectures, diving deeply into God’s Word. I realized that worship is not about perfection but heart—allowing myself to be vulnerable in worship, to cry, pray boldly, and proclaim God’s Word.” -Zhenia K.

Another student, Tanya shares her experience:

  • “On the first day, I felt discouraged and thought of leaving. Then I fell ill and walked through two days with a fever. I realized that it was an attack from the enemy. But on the third day, the Holy Spirit came so powerfully that it was worth every challenge. I even received a prophecy—I will play and write songs! This was a dream of mine, and I knew then that God wanted me here.” – Tanya

Beyond the worship school, their support [from the two bike rides] also made it possible to host a missionary school and multiple kids’ camps. Each event carried its own stories of transformation, from children learning about faith to teenagers discovering a calling to serve.

As you continue to read, you’ll see some of these powerful stories—testimonies of lives changed and glimpses into what God is doing among the youth of Ukraine.

Missionary School & Summer Camps

Mariana’s Testimony:

  • “This missionary school opened up a lot of new things for me. I understood that there is no way back – only forward, toward a deeper knowledge of God. This means more time with the Bible, prayer, and continuous spiritual growth.”

The missionary school has taught Mariana, along with so many others, that the path of faith is one of constant growth and dedication. Her time here has sparked a desire for greater commitment to studying Scripture and strengthening her walk with God.

This summer [2024], a children’s camp brought together kids and leaders from Poland, Ukraine, and the United States, fostering new friendships and unity in Christ. The camp was an inspiring example of God’s mission for all, teaching even the youngest that they have a purpose in His Kingdom.

Petro (age 9) shared his experience:

  • “My brother brought me to this camp, and it’s amazing. There are trampolines and games, and they talk about God all the time. I learned that He is our Savior, our protector and that He created all of us.”

We are beyond grateful for partners like Ends Cycling who play such a vital role in bringing hope and change to the Ukrainian youth and children, in Jesus’ Name!

Together we can spread the Gospel and the love of Jesus Christ!
