Diplomatic Relations… On Bikes… Pt. 2

An Ends of the Earth Cycling Ambassador engages individuals in the Ambassador’s circle of influence to move them one step closer to engagement in global missions through the ministry of Ends of the Earth Cycling.

This March and April, we are excited to introduce you to our 2023 Ends of the Earth Cycling Ambassadors. They have been featured on our social media channels, and now they will be featured on the Stories of Impact Blog in two installments. These are 11 remarkable friends of the ministry who are out serving in unique ways – making much of Jesus on and off the bike – inviting others to #PrayPedalRepeat with us.

“We are ambassadors for Christ!”

– 1 Corinthians 5:20

Allow us to introduce Chris Moyer II! He has been actively cycling since age 5 or 6. His favorite involvement with us was the 2017 South Dakota Bike Ride for Guinea Bissau youth. He has been joining us for years on our Monday CREW Hour of Prayer. He has ridden in at least 10+ tours with Ends Of The Earth Cycling. He would love to visit Haiti, Jamaica, Canada and/or Australia someday! His favorite ice cream is cookie dough or mint chocolate chip!

Meet Jeff Notarbartolo! Jeff lives in Delray Beach, FL and we first met him at @ride4orphans – He has been actively cycling for 31 years. His favorite involvement with Ends Of The Earth Cycling was his first trip to Key West. He has ridden in at least 4 tours with us and has served multiple times as a group leader. He said, “Global youth need our help. The enemy always seems to have a priority to destroy the youth. We can offer them hope through Christ and His road-map for life, the Bible.” Jeff would love to visit Italy someday! His favorite ice cream flavor is hazelnut gelato!

We love James Bob Brooks! He has been actively cycling for 12 years. His favorite involvement with us has been through his prayer time. He has ridden in at least 8 tours and led 3 groups for Ends Of The Earth Cycling. His social media is filled with photos and stories of his adventures with Ends Cycling. He would love to visit Israel someday!

Jerry Shoff (aka “Papa Jerry”) lives in Cape Coral, FL. His favorite ride was the Key West Bike Ride 2022. He said, “I was so honored for the opportunity to join this event, grateful to God for the ability to complete the entire distance & do it with the most amazing group of riders and support staff.” His favorite ice cream is “Otter Paws” by Publix!

Last, but not least, a man who needs no introduction: Dan Kriel. His favorite cycling ride memory is Century Day (106 miles in 100 degree heat) during our New England Bike Ride 2018 OR Day 3 on the WA Bike Ride climbing 2 mountain passes OR century day on RAGBRAI in 2019. He said, “It wasn’t just about the challenge [of those rides] but about the shared experience with others.” Dan is husband to Krista, an amazing dad, Bop-Bop (grandpa) and leads Swift Run Church in New Oxford, PA . His favorite ice cream is Chocolate Peanut Butter!
