Ride The Rockies

Colorado Bike Ride
June 8-15, 2024

Tour Highlights

This is an Ends of the Earth Cycling Outreach Tour – a Christ-focused tour within a tour. The Colorado Bike Ride 2024 will take place within the 35th edition of the epic Ride The Rockies event. Join us as we experience the beauty of God’s creation in the Rocky Mountains of Western Colorado. Ride with us as we pray for, promote, and resource the youth of Brazil.

Enjoy Christian fellowship, ride as a witness to 2,000 other cyclists, and experience the presence of God through cycling and worship. Ride The Rockies is one of the longest running bicycle tours in the country. In 1986, the premier Ride The Rockies (RTR) Colorado Bicycle Tour was created. Cyclists from all 50 states and 18 foreign countries have experience previous editions of Ride The Rockies. The 6-day route is different each year, but always climbs a few challenging mountain passes and showcases the state’s spectacular scenery.

Daily cycling routes can be as short as 45 miles or as long as 100 miles, but generally average 65-75 miles. This year’s ride includes 410+ miles and 23,000+ feet of climbing over six days of cycling. There are two days that offer optional gravel routes equaling 190+ miles and 12,300+ feet of climbing.

You will meet your Ends of the Earth Cycling tour-mates in the beautiful and historic city of Grand Junction sitting in the lush Grand Valley, an oasis that runs through the high desert of Western Colorado. Your cycling route will take you through the cities of Steamboat Springs, Craig, Meeker, Rangely, and Fruita as well as the Dinosaur National Monument and Colorado National Monument. This is truly an epic route and itinerary. Ride the Rockies is produced by Ventures Endurance, the same organization that produces other incredible cycling experiences including the legendary RAGBRAI, Tour of the Battenkill, and The Iowa Fall Ride.

For Youth of
Brazil

Our beneficiary, Light To The Nations is a network of organizations including the Rio Dream Center, ILAN Church, Edilan Book Publishing, and Legacy School. Funds raised from this tour will continue to provide supplies for our many after-school activities that impact youth there and open the door to share the Gospel with those who attend. Help us meet the needs of these youth and #PrayPedalRepeat for the youth of Brazil!

Where the money goes

Not to Ends Cycling

The majority (90%) of all donations goes directly toward impacting youth served by our beneficiary in this county, in Jesus’ name. The remaining funds (10%) support the administrative costs for our parent organization, New International, a not-for-profit which, in all honesty, helps us do what we do even better. Tax deductible receipts and year end giving statements are provided to all tour participants and donors.  Find our more about our financial transparency and accountability standards on our About page.
