Big Sky Country

Montana Bike Ride
September 6-11, 2024

Tour Highlights

Ends of the Earth Cycling is pleased to announce an epic tour to one of the most desirable destinations in America, Glacier National Park! This area is a mecca for outdoor activity and that includes cycling. We plan to ride through breathtaking scenery in this protected region of our country. You will see the Rockies rise-up from the plains and travel roads surrounded by mountains, lakes, rivers and valleys. This terrain will provide a challenge. You can expect 50+ miles and 4,000+ feet of climbing each day. Won’t you consider joining us?

We have scouted our route in search of quieter roads and a quieter time of year. By September, traffic will decrease, the mornings will be chilly, and afternoon should be sunny and warm. The west side of the park has a ski village meets the old west type of atmosphere, while the east side is noticeably more arid and has a strong influence of the Blackfeet Native Americans who still reside here.

This tour will follow our usual Friday to Wednesday format.  Those looking to encounter a deeper experience may want to add time at the beginning or at the end of the tour.  You might even consider taking the train from Chicago, Seattle, Portland, or points in between to the historic town of Whitefish.  There are many outfits that will entertain you with hiking, fishing, rafting, horseback riding, ATV riding and more.  This is the land of the grizzly bear, and we will be on the lookout and take necessary precautions.  More likely you will see smaller animals and birds, but also the Bighorn Sheep and perhaps a black bear or two.

One of our host churches is within the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. There we will have the opportunity to share our hope for youth of the world in a place where the white man was not always kind to the natives they encountered. We pray that God will honor our visit as a troupe of Jesus-loving cyclists and support team. As is our custom, each evening, we will invite the local church to join us for praise & worship, engaging testimonies, and prayer for youth in Latin America.

This tour begins in Kalispell, Montana.  Please fly into FCA – Glacier Park International Airport in Kalispell, MT.  Or travel aboard the Amtrak Empire Builder to WHF – Whitefish, MT.   Please pray about joining us on this thrilling 5-day ride through beautiful Montana, September 6-11, 2024.  We’d love to have you ride or support this tour.

Where the money goes

Not to Ends Cycling

The majority (90%) of all donations goes directly toward impacting youth served by our beneficiary in this county, in Jesus’ name. The remaining funds (10%) support the administrative costs for our parent organization, New International, a not-for-profit which, in all honesty, helps us do what we do even better. Tax deductible receipts and year end giving statements are provided to all tour participants and donors.  Find our more about our financial transparency and accountability standards on our About page.
