Church Resources

Reach out to your congregation

As a participant, many times your local church body is interested in coming alongside of you in some way. Many times that looks like:

  • Allowing you some time to share during service or in a small group
  • Getting the word out to others & promoting your tour(s)
  • Giving financially to your pledge

Some examples of how your church can help you to get the word out that you are raising funds for global youth are:

  • Projector announcement loops
  • Hanging a tour flier in common areas
  • Church Bulletin Inserts
  • Putting material about the tour on their website
  • Using Church Social Pages

If your local church body is wants to help, you can share:

  • Tour specific information from your tour’s info page
  • What country youth are being impacted
  • How our partners in that country are impacting youth in Jesus Name

You can also share various promotional media. If they are willing, just point them to the section section below. Don’t worry, they will know what to do with them.

Hashtags

help others to find & Follow You

A “hashtag” is a label for content. It helps others who are interested in a certain topic (like your tour), quickly find content on that same topic (your tour). A hashtag looks like #PrayPedalRepeat. Hashtags are used mostly on social media sites. Include these in your social media.

Here are some you can use:

  • #PrayPedalRepeat
  • #PrayServeRepeat (always include #PrayPedalRepeat)
  • #KWBR2023*

This example of a tour specific hashtag represents the 2023 Key West Bike Ride. Find your tour’s hashtag on the information page for your tour.

Employer Matching Donations

double your donations

Many companies will offer an employee matching program. For every dollar you raise, many employers may match the funds up to a certain point. Reach out to your Human Resources (HR) department and ask them if they offer this kind of employee benefit.

Email EndsCycling@NewInternational.org for more specific info about this if your employer offers this type of option.
