Ends Cycling is now a part of a bigger family – Ends Adventures! Take a peek at how this entire ministry is growing and expanding!
We are an active adventure community impacting youth locally and globally. We give people who want to change the world opportunities to use adventure activities to bring the hope of the Gospel to global youth through Christ-centered adventure events.
In 2021, the Ends Cycling Crew started beta-testing adventure ministry events with the goal of expanding Ends Cycling to become something much bigger, called Ends of the Earth Adventures (to include Christ-centered camping, equestrians, hiking, fishing and kayaking events). Ends Adventures will give people who want to change the world opportunities to use adventure activities to bring the hope of the Gospel to global youth through Christ-centered adventure events.
In the last 2 years, our team has grown significantly (gaining Dan Kriel, Michael Warren, Lexi Loofboro, Erin Morrison and Karen Weber). That is approximately a 71% growth in team size. We have also named Nick Haner to be the new director of Ends Cycling starting Jan 1st, 2025. In this time, it has been wonderful to seek wise counsel from friends and co-workers and grow in proper proportions with the speed of change. It has all been good and right sized.
The official public launch of Ends of the Earth Adventures will take place when we merge all of the ministry’s websites into one website called EndsAdventures.com. Matt Miller is taking the lead on this project. Lord willing, this transition will take place in 2025.
Justin Hanneken (Executive Director) and Matt Miller (Associate Director) are transitioning to lead Ends of the Earth Adventures and will work closely with all of the Ends Adventures Directors and team to serve them in any way needed.
In 2025, Ends Adventures will be launching a “Raising A Modern Day Knight” program in FL, based on the book by Pastor Robert Lewis. This is a ministry that equips fathers around North America to raise godly, courageous and successful sons. This annual event will be led by Matt Miller and Michael Warren and will impact local fathers / sons. Recently, Justin Hanneken was praying about why we do these events, and the Lord revealed - future ministry leaders are already in our midst, and we get the privilege of pouring into them for His glory!
In 2025, Ends Cycling, led by Director Nick Haner will be hosting 6 bicycling events. Our Hawaii Bike Ride in October will be the 50th state that we have hosted Christ-centered bicycling tours in since 2012. These events will impact youth in Nicaragua, Ukraine, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Costa Rica and the Philippines.
In 2025, Ends Hiking, led by Director Lexi Loofboro, is hosting two Christ-centered hiking events; one in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and one in Mexico. These hikes will impact youth in Mexico.
In 2025, Ends Camping, led by Director Erin Morrison will be hosting multiple summer camps on a 50-foot sailboat, called Refuge. These events will impact at-risk youth. Erin hosted eight, weeklong camps on Refuge in 2024, as well as hosted a camp for youth in Kenya (many of whom come from troubled backgrounds, even some who are orphaned).
In 2025, Ends Equestrians is “Coming Soon.” Director Karen Weber just affiliated with New International and is in the very early stages of partnership development (support raising). She will be beta-testing Christ-centered equestrian events in 2026 that impact youth around the United States.
After 2.5 years of hosting fishing events with local youth, we continue to pray the Lord will bring us directors for Ends Fishing and Ends Kayaking.
